The Suspended Glass Shelf Kit includes all the suspension wires and fittings required to install cables between the ceiling and floor. This complete suspended glass shelving kit features (4) 4m cable wires with ceiling-to-floor fixings, along with (4) shelf supports per shelf.

These modern shelf supports do not require your shelf boards to have unsightly holes for threading cables! They clamp to the edges of the shelving and allow you to add and remove shelf boards at any time. This innovative design also lets you easily install additional shelving boards to your unit without touching any shelves already suspended on the hanging wires, both above and below!

How to install ceiling-to-floor cables & fittings:

1. The ceiling & floor fixings unscrew into two pieces.
2. First, screw the brass part of the ceiling fixture into the ceiling, then reattach its chrome cap. The brass part should be hidden under the chrome cap if done correctly.
3. Suspend the cable from the ceiling part by passing it through the small hole in the floor fixing and through the spring underneath.
4. Cut the cable to the desired length and attach the cable-stopper cylinder to the end of the cable by tightening the small screws on the cylinder.
5. Screw the bottom part of the floor fixing into the floor, and then securely attach the top part to it. The spring inside the floor fitting will provide tension to the cable, keeping it straight and tight.
6. Install four cables from the ceiling to the floor to create a column, by attaching four panel supports per shelf board, two on the left cable and two on the right cable.
7. You can easily add as many shelves as you like at any time, using additional shelf supports!
