Cable Glass Shelving Kit (Fittings Only, No Glass)

The Cable Glass Shelving Kit will combine with your glass shelf boards to create elegant & practical suspended glass shelves! A glass display shelf solution for the home, office or shop. And ideal as product display shelving! The shelving kit comes complete with all fittings & 2m long steel wires that mount onto the wall or ceiling and enable each shelf to support up to 40kg! Install multiple shelves at any height required. The steel cables also act as "bookends" and support items such as books, binders, folders, DVDs, etc. Note: Kit for fittings only! No glass included!

Cable Glass Shelving Kit fittings are made of high-quality solid brass and finished in premium polished chrome - with kit options to mount from (1) to (4) shelves in one unit! Fittings are suitable for toughened safety glass only! For advice regarding glass shelving boards - contact us.

Easy to install:

1. Screw wall-mounted shelf supports into the wall at the required level.
2. Attach shelf supports to the front corners of each glass shelf board.
3. Un-tight the cable fitting (it will split into two pieces). Screw the brass part into the wall 6 inches (15cm) above the first shelf - or where ever is convenient if you cannot screw 6 inches above - you can screw this into the ceiling or wall with the large screws supplied.
4. Reattach the chrome piece onto the brass part and allow the cable to hang freely. (You can cut the cable to size)
5. Slide a glass shelf board into the wall-mounted supports and tighten the bottom bolts to secure it.
6. Lastly, thread the suspended cables through the slits of each cable shelf support that should be already attached to the front corners of the glass shelf boards! (See step 2.)
7. Tighten the grub screws & cut away any excess cable if installing only one shelf.
8. When installing multiple shelves to create a unit (one shelf above another), DO NOT cut the cables! Install the next shelf board (in the same way) below the first, using wall-mounted supports - and continue to thread the hanging cable through the cable shelf supports and tighten their grub screws. You can install as many shelves as you like, one above another, and the side cables will finish inside the cable shelf supports of the lowest glass shelf board.
